Interested to hear what the fetch. I got some of those 24k gold hi-fi CDs. Probably not in good enough condition to be worth much but kinda weird/obscure. Other than that it's some rare funk releases, DJ mixes and some Japanese releases.

That's kinda where I'm at. Most all DVDs have been put in binders with a few exceptions. Been dragging my feet on doing that for CDs tho. It just doesn't make sense to have a wall of cases... maybe if I was single but the fam has too much crap 😛

Yeah it's pretty nuts. I recently started playing again on PS3 since I never got very far the first time. Supposedly that one has better music or something.

I looked it up out of curiosity and based on my 5 second search, both MS and Sony sell at a loss at least initially. Don't see an update for Xbox but PS5 supposedly is net positive as of maybe 18 months ago.

If you have a ton of time they are great games. Kinda slow gameplay compared to other open world games like Just Cause.

I'm sorting a ton of stuff trying to majorly declutter which led me to going through lots of CDs and DJ DVD. I can't bring myself to toss the DVDs yet but many CDs are being kept sans cases. Thought it will be nice to have them not in jewel cases for quick access when playing around on the CDJs plus smaller footprint with no case. I'm pulling out the CD liner (insert and back) and saving though. I wondered if there was any point. Are CDs collectible? Seems like they are practically worthless. Most of these CDs aren't major releases (DJ/producer releases) so thought maybe it would be worth hanging on to the CD art. Anyways, just wondered what people thought of physical digital media like CDs and DVD. Toss? Sell? Keep? Just keep the discs?

Jeez. That's crazy. Don't Sony and MS sell systems at a loss? Wonder if this is a shift away from that or tariff related. Strange business decision but if they are already a distant 2nd (3rd?) in the console war it might make sense on paper. After all why sell discounted systems to people with less disposable income... not like they are going to make it up with subscriptions. I don't see myself getting ever getting a Series X, Switch 2 or anything else moving forward. I have too many games to play as it is. Don't play online anymore. If I got anything it would be a Steam Deck.

Thats the sad part about online only games. No matter how good, it will die sooner than later.

I think it was just on Xbone. Don't believe they put it out on 360 but maybe they did.

Physical for retro (obviously) and Switch if it's a Nintendo exclusive. Digital for most Switch games, Xbone and PS4. Digital is more convenient and X/PS game discs (usually) are just keys not the actual game so what's the point in buying physical when the digital is cheaper than used physical anyways.

I liked 2. Not sure if I'd say as much as the first but probably even. But yes, cross play and a remaster would be awesome.
